Conditions & Equipment Selection
When you look at a yacht, the first thing that will appear to your eyes is a bright and beautiful finish. For this, the team, paint systems, paint materials and equipment must be selected correctly and applied professionally. In this way, in addition to high gloss and color permanence, protection is also provided against abrasions, chemicals, fuel, oil, acids and alkalis. UV protection is another important factor to resist the corrosive effects of the sea and the sun. Professional paint systems must be applied as a complete system, not part by part. Otherwise, the expected results from the system may not be obtained.

Health and Safety
Health and safety is the most important point before starting the application. A professional start is required for a professional application. All kinds of protective clothing and equipment must be used correctly and completely. Products that contain solvent or other flammable chemicals harmful to health should never be used by amateur users. Only professionals, who are equipped for this job and have the necessary training, should do such applications. In principle, our company ensures that every new member who joins our team receives first aid training on occupational safety, environmental safety and environmental protection.

Cleaning and preparation
The most important part of the painting process is the preparation point. Most of the time is devoted to pre-painting procedures and preparation. One should not be in a hurry to start painting. Surfaces must be prepared properly before applying the final coat. Putties, primers, and chemical cleaners in the correct sequence should be applied exactly as specified by the manufacturer. Equipment and material selection is very important in sanding operations. As ARIA YATÇILIK, we use RUPES sanding and polishing machines and SAIT abrasive and grinding products, which are one of the leading brands of Italy. RUPES sanding and polishing machines are also diversified according to their oscillation diameters. Defect-free floors are obtained by selecting the required operating mode and oscillation diameter according to the floor and material usage.

Environmental conditions
We, as ARIA YATÇILIK, build steel constructions on the boats we prepare until the last layer of paint.

Thanks to the modular system and specially designed paint booth in its dimensions, without being affected by seasonal and regional conditions, thanks to the in-cabin air conditioning systems, personnel comfort is provided during the infrastructure works and productivity is prevented. When the infrastructure works are completed, the ventilation systems equipped with dehumidification and dust holding technologies come into play during the primer or top coat paint applications that require spraying, and in these applications, the correct humidity rate and the correct temperature are ensured to prevent dust particles that may come to the surfaces. However, as in the old systems, it is unfortunately not possible to adjust the humidity in tent type cabinets installed with timbers due to the timbers that constantly create moisture in the cabin. Paint life is much shorter and risky in boats where paint is applied in this way compared to our systems. In the construction system, there is no risk of collapse or overturning of the hangar in storm and harsh weather conditions. It is easy to install and economical.

Equipment selection
The quality and correct selection of the equipment to be used is very important as it will affect the results. If the compressor is powerful enough and the correct / high quality spray guns are used, it will allow the paint to be atomized well, to create a bright image by spreading on the surface, and to be applied at the correct micron. As ARIA YATÇILIK, we prefer GRACO and DEVILBISS equipment, which are the leading world brands of the sector.

GRACO FRP Systems are used in professional gelcoat and fiber applications. It offers economical and fast solutions in terms of accurate and material consumption in boat manufacturing, fiber repairs and gelcoat renewals.
GRACO TRITON 308 Air operated diaphragm spraying system for high quality and decorative top coat application on wood and metal surfaces.
GRACO DUTYMAX Hiroshic paint spray system. Used in dense and airlesss paint applications.
GRACO ULTRA MAX II is an air-assisted airless system that can be used in the topcoat application of all paint types.
RUPES POLISHING AND SANDING GROUP We use sanding and polishing machines and SAIT abrasive and grinding products from Italy’s leading brands. RUPES sanding and polishing machines are also diversified according to their oscillation diameters. Defect-free floors are obtained by selecting the required operating mode and oscillation diameter according to the choice of floor and sandpaper. It provides dust-free dry sanding in indoor or outdoor areas with its portable dust extraction systems.
